AN advanced civilisation on Mars was wiped out by a destructive nuclear war – according to astonishing claims online.
The Red Planet the second-smallest in the solar system. Currently, it is not inhabitable due to its proximity to the Sun. But eye-opening video footage has sought to prove that anadvanced civilisation once lived there. In the clip, the conspiracist reveals:
“Mars shows signs of scarring that would only come from nuclear impact.”He didn’t stop there, though. The so-called war could even be ongoing, or so the conspiracist claims.
“But who’s to say the war is ancient?
“It could have happened quite recently – it could have happened 100 years ago, or 50 years ago.
“The war could even still be going on.”
The man then progresses to reveal images of the planet’s surface and identifies areas that resemble human faces.
He even speculates they have been put here purposely to slowly desensitise the idea of alien life to modern civilisation. He continues: “Two [of them] look humanoid, but one looks completely alien, is this evidence of two different races working together as one?”In another picture, he claims to have spotted a statue that represent a human body laying on the surface of Mars. The clip was uploaded to YouTube channel Disclose Screen last month and has gained popularity recently. It now has more than 47,500 views.
But Daily Star Online can reveal footage that answers what the bizarre formation really is.Just days ago, an amazing video emerged from NASA’s Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter. They come following more than 10 years of successful collection of footage. The high quality images shows the polar regions of Mars, paired with a Google Earth view of their location. The website’s view zooms into the south pole of the planet and displays sand dunes similar to what the conspiracy theorist was discussing. The solar orbit then pans across the surface, where plenty of craters and rocky formations can be spotted — but there are no statues or human shrines.
And the video has gained a huge amount of attention since it was posted last week.
Viewers loved the high-quality footage, which helped silence claims from normally blurry images.
One comment read: “You mean it’s not aliens? Thoroughly enjoyed the footage.”
And another added: “That was enlightening.”
